ABDUR-RAHIM BRIGGS

PRESIDENT

Abdur-Rahim Briggs returns as GWDC ARMA Chapter President. He once served as President of the Board of Directors for the Greater Washington DC Chapter from 2009–2010 and is currently Records Management Specialist for the Public Service Commission for the District of Columbia. He is the recipient of the Rita L. Holt Chapter Member of the Year Award in 2010 and 2014.

Mr. Briggs has been a member of the GWDC Chapter and ARMA International since June 2000 and has had other leadership roles. In this capacity, he also assists in managing the chapter’s website.

CHRISTOPHER BEASLEY

VICE-PRESIDENT OF PROGRAMS

Chris Beasley is the CEO of Edge Digital Group, located in Arlington, Virginia. For over 25 years, Chris has been dedicated to helping agencies and companies bridge the digital divide. He consults on electronic records management and digital transformation. Chris has attended ARMA meetings for 10 years.

Jean-Marc Dubose is the Retention Coordinator at Blank Rome LLP. He has over 10 years of experience in the field of records and information management.

SABRINA D. MONROE

TREASURER

Sabrina is the Senior Manager of Information Governance & Records at Blank Rome, LLP and has been with the firm for over 15 years. She has been an ARMA member since 2007 and recently became an active member of the board in 2012. She has served in the Records and Information Management industry for nearly 20 years and has served as Chapter President from 2015-2019 as currently manages the Chapter’s website and Interim Treasurer.

She has worked extensively to ensure efficient and effective management of firm hardcopy and electronic records, in addition to implementing strategic processes for incoming and departing lateral attorneys at the firm.

MARK MOORE

Mark Moore, as a Business Development Manager at Rover Records, a local and national records management and document destruction company, Mark works with organizations of all sizes in multiple industries to dispose, Store and protect their confidential information.

 

Mark has been a member of ARMA since 2010 and has had two terms on the GWDC ARMA Board of Directors, the first starting in 2012 through 2015, The second starting with 2017-2018.  Mark has been in records management business development for fifteen years.

KAREN M. PAYNE, CRM

DIRECTOR - RECRUITMENT AND RETENTION

Karen is a self-employed Principal with IMERGE Consulting and Precision Records Management since 1994.  She served as New Mexico Membership Director, 2011-2015, Chapter President, 2015-2019; Rio Grande Membership Director, 2007-2010; and VP Membership, Milwaukee Chapter, 2003-2006.  Her RIM background includes records classification development, change facilitation, and work with other fundamental IG program components.  Prior to 1994, she was employed in the private sector. She is a DC/NOVA native currently living in New Mexico.

KIM HARLEY

Kim Harley has been with Baker Botts since 1987 as the Washington DC Records and  Information Governance Manager. Prior to that she was Records Manager for  two years for the DC office of DLA Piper.  She has been a member of ARMA since 1987. Kim Harley once served as Vice-President of Membership. She is the President of The Baker Botts Employee Relief Foundation and also served on the 2019 ILTA Conference Committee.

TONY DONALDSON

DIRECTOR

Tony Donaldson is the Regional Records Manager (East Coast) for the law firm of Hogan Lovells LLP, and is based in the Washington, D.C. office. He has over 20 years of vast experience in managing records and information for various organizations and law firms. 

He has vast experience in managing operations across U.S. and international offices. He has been a member of ARMA since 1994.  He has served on the Board of Directors from 1998 – 2006, and most recently re-joined the Board as a Director in 2015.  During his time on the Board, he served as President of the Board of Directors from 2000 – 2001 and has held various other positions on the Board and other committees.
